1 — Departure & Haxhi Aliu Cave

Vlorë → Haxhi Aliu Cave | ~45 min total

We depart from Vlorë and cruise toward the Karaburun Peninsula. Our first visit is the iconic Haxhi Aliu Cave, where we enter by boat to admire its giant sea dome, blue reflections, and natural rock formations.

2 — Dafina Bay & Dafina Cave

Beach, cave & snorkeling | 1 hour

We continue toward Dafina Bay, one of Karaburun’s most beautiful hidden bays. Guests have time to enjoy the beach, snorkel in clear water, and explore the impressive Dafina Cave.

3 — Skaloma Bay

White sand & crystal water | 30 min

A remote beach on the rugged Ionian side of Karaburun, known for its white sand and some of the clearest blue water in the Marine Park.

Here we stop for a 30-minute snorkeling session and beach time.

4 — Coastal Exploration: Canyons, Gorges & Hidden Caves

Scenic navigation along the wild Ionian shore (1h 30 min)

This section is part of the coastal exploration, with short scenic pauses depending on sea conditions.

We pass and admire some of the most dramatic formations of Karaburun, including:

  • Canyon of Smugglers — a narrow gorge carved into the coast
  • Englishman Bay & Cave — a scenic bay with coastal history and cave formations
  • Gorge of Water Caves — known for blue water and freshwater currents

These are not long beach stops, but part of the immersive navigation through the wildest side of Karaburun.

5 — Llovizi Bay & Seal Monk Cave

Blue Cave + beach stop | 45 min

We visit Llovizi Bay, one of Karaburun’s hidden gems, together with the nearby Seal Monk Cave, popularly known as the Blue Cave.

This is one of the most popular cave-and-beach stops of the tour, combining cave exploration, bright blue water, and time to enjoy the beach.

6 — Grama Bay & The Stone Library

Main destination | 2 hours

The main destination of the expedition is Grama Bay, one of the most legendary bays of the Albanian Riviera.

Here guests have time to relax on the beach, snorkel around the reef, or choose a short hike toward the Stone in the Sky viewpoint for panoramic views of the bay.

Grama is also known as The Stone Library, because ancient sailors, travelers, and explorers carved inscriptions into the surrounding rocks across history.

7 — Return to Vlorë

Grama Bay → Vlorë | ~1h 30 min

After the long stop at Grama Bay, we begin the return ride to Vlorë.

This completes a full-day expedition along the wildest and most remote side of the Karaburun Peninsula.

Good to Know Before You Go

Is this tour beginner-friendly?

Yes. This tour is suitable for beginners and first-time snorkelers. The crew will explain the stops clearly, and guests can choose how much they want to swim, snorkel, explore, or simply relax on the boat and beach.


Boats & Access

We use RIB boats and fast adventure boats, ideal for navigating the Karaburun–Sazan Marine Park.

These boats allow us to safely access:

  • Narrow gorges
  • Sea caves
  • Hidden bays
  • Rocky coastal areas
  • Shallow beach stops

Their size and maneuverability make the experience more immersive than a standard large boat tour.

  • Easy sea access with a large front ladder, similar to a pool ladder, making it simple to enter and exit the water

Snorkeling Equipment

Snorkeling masks are included in the tour.

Guests are also welcome to bring their own snorkeling equipment if they prefer.


Drinks & Cooler

The boat is equipped with a large ice cooler to keep drinks fresh during the tour.

Included drinks depend on the tour package, but additional drinks can be purchased on board:

  • Water: €1
  • Cola / Fanta / Ice Tea: €2
  • Beer: available on board

What to Bring

Bring only what you need for a comfortable sea adventure:

  • Swimwear
  • Towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat or sunglasses
  • Dry clothes for after swimming
  • Phone or camera for photos
  • Light snacks if you want
  • Cash for extra drinks or personal expenses

Water shoes are recommended if you prefer extra comfort on rocky beaches.
