Hotel Bologna → Sazan Island | 30 min
Start your adventure from Vlorë with a scenic speedboat ride toward Sazan Island. As we leave the coast, the water changes from turquoise to deep blue and the wild shape of the Marine Park begins to appear.

Coastal exploration + snorkeling | 1 hour
We navigate very close to the wild western shore of Sazan Island, entering narrow gorges, sea caves, and dramatic rock formations accessible only by boat.
The main snorkeling stop is at Hell’s Gorge, one of the most secluded and beautiful areas of the island.

Note: The Treasure Cave of Haxhi Aliu is located on Sazan Island and is different from the famous Haxhi Aliu Cave in Karaburun.

Free exploration or beach time | 1 hour
After the boat exploration, we land on Sazan Island for one full hour. You can choose between exploring the island’s history or relaxing by the sea.
Option 1 — Ghost Town Trail (Recommended)
Walk through bunkers, the abandoned village, forest paths, and hidden military remains.
Option 2 — Saint Nicholas Bay
Swim, snorkel, or relax at the beach near the harbor.
Meeting Point
Return to the harbor meeting point at the scheduled time to continue the tour.

Sazan Island → Karaburun Peninsula | 30 min total
From Sazan Island, we cross the Mezokanal Strait toward Karaburun Peninsula. The crossing takes around 15 minutes.
We then enter Haxhi Aliu Cave by boat and stay inside for around 15 minutes, giving you time to admire the giant sea cave, take photos, and hear the story of the legendary Haxhi Aliu.

Haxhi Aliu Cave → Saint George’s Bay | 45 min
After exiting Haxhi Aliu Cave, we continue along the Karaburun coastline for a short scenic coastal excursion.
We then stop at Saint George’s Bay for beach time, swimming, and snorkeling in clear waters.

Karaburun Peninsula → Hotel Bologna | 20 min
After Saint George’s Bay, we return by boat to Vlorë, arriving near Hotel Bologna.
This final crossing completes the full Sazan 360° experience — a round sea adventure of almost 30 nautical miles through the Karaburun–Sazan Marine Park.

Is this tour beginner-friendly?
Yes. This tour is suitable for beginners and first-time snorkelers. The crew will explain the stops clearly, and guests can choose how much they want to swim, snorkel, explore, or simply relax on the boat and beach.
